Heavy Rescue 3, donated to MPFD by Pearlstein Distributors, carries a full compliment of specialty rescue equipment. Some of the more notable equipment on HR-3: Oxyacetylene, Petrogen and Exothermic torches, lumber and tools to begin structural collapse shoring operations, airshore struts and panels for trench rescue operations, 6 portable generators, ventilation fans and supplied air breathing apparatus (SABA system) for confined space operations, and a wide assortment of specialty concrete breaching and breaking saws, jackhammers and hammer drills.

1991 19ft. Carolina Skiff/ 90hp Yamaha

MPFD water rescue team responds to all water emergencies in the Charleston Harbor and surrounding areas. This boat carries all BLS and ILS medical supplies.
